Description	In this paper we describe new approaches for high speed cutting machine tools. First approach has been called %22Floating principle%22.It is based on mutual relative movement of two machine parts: one of the supporting the workpiece and the othe supporting the tool. Both parts are connected together by the drive. The second approach named %22Recoil principle%22 can be applied only for feed drives with linear motors .
