| - Příspěvek se zabývá určením deformací mezi Africkou a Eurasijskou tektonickou deskou v oblasti východního Středomoří na základě souřadnicových časových řad GPS. Řešení je založeno na společném zpracování volně dostupných rychlostí stanic evropské permanentní sítě (EPN) a rychlostí stanic egyptské permanentní sítě GPS. Jejich hodnoty byly určeny zpracováním denních GPS observací. Oblasti možných vzájemných interakcí mezi Eurasijskou a Africkou tektonickou deskou ve východním Středomoří byly detekovány pomocí aparátu mechaniky kontinua. Dostupná egyptská GPS data pokrývají interval od prosince 2006 do března 2009, což představuje dostatečně dlouhý interval pro určení rychlosti stanic. Výsledky jsou srovnány s jinými publikovanými hodnotami horizontálních rychlostí (lze pouze pro stanici PHLW).

- The contribution deals with estimating deformation between the African and the Eurasian Plate in the Eastern Mediterranean on the basis of GPS coordinate time series. The solution is based on common processing of the freely available site velocities from the European Permanent Network (EPN) and the velocities from the Egyptian GPS permanent network. The latter were determined by processing of GPS daily observations. The regions of possible mutual interactions between the Eurasian and the African Plate in the Eastern Mediterranean were detected using the apparatus of the mechanics of continuum. The available Egyptian GPS data cover the period from December 2006 to March 2009, which represents a sufficient time interval for velocity estimation. The results are compared with other published long-term values of horizontal velocities (only for station PHLW possible). (en)
