Description	This book was written as a set of experiences with modeling of real-world engineering problems, which were solved in the research center CIDEAS at the Department of Mechanics on the Faculty of Civil Engineering CTU in Prague. The main attention was focused on solution of concrete structures with advanced models taking into account creep effects, shrinkage and damage effects. In many cases, the solution of coupled problem was required because it is known that the temperature and moisture distribution can influence mechanical behavior significantly. In such the case, the thermo-hydro-mechanical analysis was assumed and it led to the solution of system of non-linear partial differential equations which cannot be solved analytically for most of real-world problems and thus it has to be solved numerically.
