| - Identification of transport parameters describing the coupled water and sulphate transport in sandstone frequently used in Central Europe as masonry and ornamental material for historical buildings is performed in the paper. In the experimental work, rod-shaped samples are used for the measurement of moisture and sulfate concentration profiles. In the determination of moisture and sulfate concentration profiles, the specimens are put in contact with distilled water or Na2SO4 solution. After chosen time interval, the samples are cut into several pieces. The moisture content is determined in each piece by gravimetric method, the sulfate concentration is measured by ion chromatography. Experimentally determined Na2SO4 concentration profiles and moisture profiles are used for identification of sulfate diffusion coefficient and moisture diffusivity on the basis of inverse analysis using the diffusion-advection model.

- V článku jsou identifikovány transportní parametry popisující současný přenos vody a síranů v pískovci, který byl v teritoriu střední Evropy používán pro zdění i ornamentální účely. V experimentální části práce jsou vzorky tyčového tvaru vystaveny z jedné strany působení buď destilované vody nebo roztoku Na2SO4. Po zvoleném časovém intervalu jsou vzorky rozřezány na několik kusů, v nichž je určena vlhkost gravimetrickou metodou a koncentrace síranů pomocí iontové chromatografie. Experimentálně určené profily vlhkosti a koncentrace Na2SO4 jsou využity pro stanovení součinitele vlhkostní vodivosti a součinitele difúze síranů na základě inverzní analýzy s využitím difúzně-advektivního modelu.
