  • V článku je studována efektivita použití ochranných silikátových vrstev proti pronikání vody do teplotně porušených vzorků jemnozrnného betonu s různými poměry vody k cementu. Naměřená data ukazují, že betonové podklady s trhlinami mohou být ochráněny pomocí studované silikátové vrstvy dosti efektivně. Vlastnosti betonových podkladů bez trhlin jsou ovšem přítomností této vrstvy ovlivněny jen velmi málo. (cs)
  • Effectiveness of silicate protecting layers against water penetration is studied for thermally cracked specimens of fine grained concrete substrates with different water/cement ratio in the paper. The measured data show that the cracked concrete substrates can be protected against water penetration quite effectively using the investigated silicate layers. However, the properties of concrete substrates without cracks remain basically unaffected by the presence of the studied silicate protection.
