  • This subject presents research findings about the use of ultrasonic waves for the testing of building materials. It describes the attenuation of an ultrasonic undulation in concrete and its physical expression. An operative digital ultrasonic appliance is introduced for a practical use, which has got a wide utilization for the identification of material defects. The example of an impulse transit method used on a strong concrete is presented.
