Description
| - Moisture uptake by root system affects the water regime in soil profile. In heavy soils with preferential pathways water with fertilizers penetrates into significant depth and often reaches an under-root zone or even the groundwater level. This may happen in summer periods with short but heavy precipitation events, when water flows through desiccated cracks. Effects of the drip irrigation and fertilization of potatoes have been monitored at the experimental site. Based on the measured data simulation of the water regime of the soil profile considering an impact of the preferential flow and the root water uptake was done. The dual-permeability simulation model S_1D_Dual was used. Soil hydraulic parameters were inversely determined. The results demonstrate that during rainfall events the water reaches significant depths via preferential pathways. The effect of the root zone is dominant during dry periods, when capillary water uptake from the layers below roots becomes important.

- Odběr půdní vlhkosti vlivem kořenové zóny významně ovlivňuje vodní režim půdy. Těžkými půdami, které vykazují preferenční proudění, může voda s rozpuštěnými hnojivy protéct do významných hloubek a dosáhnout hladiny podzemní vody. Tento scénář je pravděpodobný v letních měsících, kdy se v půdě vlivem smršťování tvoří síť puklin. Na experrimentální ploše ve Valečově byl studován vliv kapkové závlahy a hnojení na produkci brambor. Na základě měřených dat byla numericky simulována jedna vegetační sezóna. Byl použit simulační model S_1D_DUAL, který uvažuje dualitu prostředí, a tedy vliv preferenčních cest. Parametry hydraulických charakteristik byly určeny inverzně. Výsledky potvrdily hluboké a rychlé průsaky srážkové vody. Kořenová zóna dominuje především v bezsrážkových obdobích, kdy vlivem kapilárního vzlínání odebírá vodu i z hlubších horizontů. (cs)
