  • A comparison of the capacitance method and the microwave impulse method for the determination of moisture profiles in three typical porous building materials is presented in the paper. The basic principles of the measuring methods are given. The calibration process is described in detail. On the basis of the measured results, it can be concluded that the capacitance method gives a better accuracy in the range of lower moisture content contrary to the microwave impulse method that is more accurate for the highest values of the moisture content.

  • V tomto článku je prezentováno porovnání mikrovlnné impulsní metody a kapacitní metody pro určení vlhkostních profilů ve třech typických stavebních materiálech. Jsou ukázány základní principy obou metod, detailně je popsána jejich kalibrace. Ze získaných výsledků vyplývá, že kapacitní metoda je více vhodná pro nižší obsah vlhkosti, zatímco mikrovlnná impulsní metoda se lépe hodí pro vyšší obsahy vlhkosti v materiálech. (cs)
