Description	Some ideas from the current work and future activities of the statics and dynamics section of WTA CZ group are presented in the paper. One of major tasks of this section is implementation modern computational theory to the reality of historical buildings. The importance of these activities is demonstrated on the cases of the historical objects reconstruction. For example, use of the two dimensional finite elements for computation of the stress state in the building wall is shown.
