  • For a good design of protective helmet, a determination of its protective properties is needed, especially relation between construction and acceleration history underwent by head.Usually the helmet is made of polystyrene and e.g. polycarbonate layer. The dynamic response of the system is crucial. In the article, numerical analysis of FE model of sendwich model is decribed, as well as comparison with experiments.

  • Při posuzování ochranných vlastností sportovních přileb je třeba posoudit jejich ochranných vliv na průběh zrychlení hlavy. Nejčastěji jsou přilby vyráběny ze dvou materiálů - pěnového polystyrenu a novoduru, popř. polykarbonátu. Pro jejich konstrukci je důležitá dynamická odezva těchto dvou vrstev. V článku je popsána numerická analýza modelu provedená pomocí softwaru LS-DYNA a provedeno porovnání s experimentem. (cs)
