Description
  • The paper is aimed at design of a novel loading device used for investigation of material and structural properties of materials with complex inner structure. The device is able to exert uniaxial compression, tension and cyclic load on a sample. The device is specialized on executing of biomechanical experiments (e.g. trabecular bone failure analysis), but may also be used for other materials (e.g. metal foam structure optimization). Its proportions and use of materials with very low absorption of X-rays make it suitable for use in a micro-CT device. The need to use non-metallic materials even for the stiff frame made design of the whole system even more challenging.

  • Práce pojednává o návrhu zatěžovacího stroje pro zkoumání materiálu a jeho vlastností, které mají složitou vnitřní strukturu. Zatežovací zařízení umožňuje vyvinout jednoosý tlak, tah a cyklické zatížení a je primarně určeno pro biomechanické experimenty. Při návrhu byli použity materiály s nízkou absorbcí rentgenoveho zaření, což umožňuje použití zatězovacího stroje v mikro-CT. (cs)
