Description	V rámci fyzikálního i pokročilého numerického experimentálního výzkumu je vyvíjeno originální výzkumné zařízení a dvousložkové tlakové snímače pro odděleného sledování normálové i smykové složky bočního tlaku. U zařízení může být čelní stěnou libovolně pohybováno, boční skleněné stěny umožňují vizuální sledování deformací a pohybů uvnitř zkoušeného zemního tělesa. Dosud provedený výzkum přinesl nové výsledky, které mohou být považovány za základní. Při experimentu s pasivním tlakem bylo dosaženo tak vysokých tlaků, že nejbližší skleněné tabule popraskaly, avšak experiment byl úspěšně dokončen, avšak renovace zařízení byla nutná. (cs) The experimental research of lateral pressure has been proceeding by means of physical as well as advanced numerical models. Original stand, pressure sensors were developed for the monitoring of both components of lateral pressure, i.e. normal and tangential (shear) ones. The front wall of the stand with the sensors is arbitrarily moved, the side glass walls make possible the visual monitoring of displacements and deformations within a tested soil mass. The research using this stand has brought some obviously new results of some which can be considered as substantial. The experimental research of lateral pressure has been proceeding by means of physical as well as advanced numerical models.
