Description	Dramatic improvement of the computer technology and of the theory of reliability turns the attention to the transition from current structural reliability assessment methods applied in mechanical as well as civil engineering structural design. One of the fully probabilistic methods, SBRA, is described and its application is demonstrated using examples. Attention is given especially to stability problems.
