  • Předmětem této práce je popis experimentální Metody interpolovaných elips (MIE) a její aplikaci na lomově mechanické studie. MIE je nová technika založená na optickém pozorování deformací hexagonální sítě bodů na povrchu zkoumaného tělesa během zatěžovacího procesu. Zatížení tělesa přetváří kružnici na povrchu do tvaru elipsy. Každá elipsa je interpolovaná šesti sousedícími body hexagonální mřížky. Znalost parametrů elipsy nám přímo udává velikost a směr hlavních prodloužení na povrchu vzorku. Informace o vývoji pole plastických deformací získáváme na základě numerického zpracování rozvoje hlavních prodloužení (cs)
  • The subject of this work is the description of the experimental %22Method of Interpolated Ellipses%22 (MIE) and its application in fracture mechanics studies. The MIE is a new technique based on the optical monitoring of deformations during loading processes of hexagonal grids of dots deposited on the surface of the monitored specimen. Loading the specimen deforms a circle on the surface into an ellipse. Each ellipse is interpolated by six neighbouring dots of the hexagonal grid. Knowledge of the ellipse parameters directly yields the magnitude and the direction of principal strains on the specimen surface. Principal strain evolution yields knowledge of evolution of the plastic strain field by numerical post processing
