  • Spektra příčného momentu neutrálního pionu (pT) ve střední rapiditě (|y|<=0.35) byla měřena v Cu+Cu srážkách při s(NN)=22.4, 62.4 a 200 GeV. Relativně k π0 výnosům v p+p srážkách přepočteným počtem neelastických srážek nukleon-nukleon (Ncoll), π0 výnosy pro pT>=2 GeV/c v centrálních Cu+Cu srážkách jsou potlačeny při 62.4 and 200 GeV, zatímco zesílení je pozorováno při 22.4 GeV. Srovnání s jet-quenching modelem nabízí, že finální stav ztrát partonové energie dominuje v centrálních Cu+Cu srážkách při 62.4 a 200 GeV, zatímco posílení při 22.4 GeV je v souladu s atomovými modifikacemi v počátečním stavu samotném.
