  • Výrazné magnetokalorické vlastnosti sloučenin of Ni2-xMn1+yGa1+z silně závisí na složení a na meziatomových vzdálenostech. Tlakem indukovaný současný výskyt martensitická trasformace a magnetického fázového přechodu, pozorovaný v Mn bohatých sloučeninách, má za následek výrazný vzrůst magnetokalorického jevu. V kontrastu s tímto chováním magnetokalorický jev byl částečně potlačen v Ni bohatých sloučeniných za vysokých tlaků. Tyto výsledky odrážejí specifickou úlohu Ni v martensitické transformaci sloučenin Ni2MnGa (cs)
  • The pronounced magnetocaloric properties of Ni2-xMn1+yGa1+z alloys are strongly dependent on both the composition and the inter-atomic distances. A pressure-induced co-occurrence of martensitic transformation and magnetic transition was found for Mn-rich compounds, resulting in a substantial increase of magnetocaloric effect. In contrast to this, the magnetocaloric effect was partially suppressed in the Ni-rich compounds under high pressure. These results reflect the specific role of Ni in the martensitic transformation of Ni2MnGa alloys
