  • The chemical oxygen-iodine laser (COIL) with a chemical method of atomic iodine generation in a separate reactor was studied. Two methods of atomic iodine generation were proposed and developed based on fast reactions of gaseous hydrogen iodide with chemically produced chlorine or fluorine atoms. Using of reactive gases commercially available in pressure cylinders is the main advantage of this method in comparison with the conventional COIL

  • Byly navrženy a experimentálně studovány dvě metody produkce atomárního jodu pro chemický kyslík-jodový laser (COIL) přes atomární chlor a fluor, které vznikají rovněž chemickou reakcí. Tento dvoustupňový reakční proces byl realizován v separátním reaktoru mimo vlastní laser, aby se vyloučily vedlejší nepříznivé kinetické efekty v laserovém mediu. Tyto metody mají oproti způsobu produkce atomů jodu v konvenčním laseru některé výhody (cs)
