  • High-field magnetization measurements have revealed an antiferromagnetic (AFM) ground state in UPdSiH1.0 and uncompensated AFM - in UNiSiH1.0.Subsequent magnetic phases in UNiSiH 1.0 are ferromagnetic.Increase of T N in UPdSiH 1.0 with pressure, and the estimate of the ordering temperatures in UNiSiH 1.0 based on bulk moduli indicate that the pressure effect on magnetism in the hydrides goes beyond volume expansion.
