  • Nd:YAG laser, délka pulzu 9 ns a 900 mJ maximální energie, pracující na základní vlnové délce 1064 nm a na druhé harmonické 532 nm, byl užit k ozařování Au terčíků. Generované plazma emituje ionty od 1+ do 6+ s nadzvukovou rychlostí a kinetickou energií až 3 keV. Boltzmannovo-Coulombovo-posunuté rozdělení pravidelně závisí na nábojovém čísle, a indikuje tak přítomnost vysokého elektrického pole uvnitř nerovnovážného plazmatu (cs)
