  • Naše studie se zabývá substituovanými polymethiniovými solemi, které byly připraveny malonaldehydovou substitucí. Jedna z těchto látek s polyethylenglykolovou substitucí měla ve vodném prostředí za fyziolologických podmínek vysokou selektivitu pro sulfátové anionty a heparin. Ukázali jsme, že ji lze využít k zobrazení vnitrobuněčných struktur bohatých na sulfáty, jako jsou lysosomy nádorových buněk. (cs)
  • Highly selective sulfate sensors, based on a substituted polymetionine scaffold, were prepared and analyzed. One salt with polyethyleneglycol substitution showed high selectivity for sulfate anions and heparin in aqueous medium at physiological conditions. We have shown that it can be used for intracellular imaging of heparin-rich subcellular compartments, such as lysosomes in cancer cells.
