Description	New monoclonal antibodies specific to rat testicular antigen TEC-21 were prepared after immunization of mice with detergent-resistant low density fraction of Triton X-100 extracted rat basophilic leukemia (RBL) cells. Three antibodies with different epitope specificity were prepared.The antibodies reacted with 36-42 kDa glycoprotein and 30 - 36 kD glycoprotein in lysates from RBL cells and testicular tissue, respectively. The antibodies did not cross-react with mouse testicular cells.
