  • Studie byla zaměřena na tvorbu DNA aduktů, indukci jednořetězcových zlomů DNA a indukci exprese proteinu p53 organickými extrakty z částic PM10 v ovzduší 3 evropských měst (Praha, Košice, Sofia) v zimním a letním období. Vzhledem k dosaženým výsledkům lze předpokládat, že stanovení zlomů DNA a DNA aduktů jsou 2 citlivé markery pro stanovení genotoxické aktivity komplexních směsí organických látek adsorbovaných na PM10 částice v ovzduší.   • This study was focused on DNA adduct formation, DNA single strand break induction and tumour suppressor p53 protein up-regulation produced by extractable organic matter adsorbed on respirable particulate matter PM10 collected in three European cities (Prague, Košice, Sofia) during winter and summer period. Based on obtained results it is supposed that two endpoints DNA breakage and DNA adduction are sensitive in vitro biomarkers for estimation of genotoxic activity of organic complex mixture associated with airborne particles
