  • The study introduces a book by V. Kramář in the context of Czech discussion on the so-called national and international art at the beginning of the 1920s. Kramář's interpretation, explained in the book Cubism, is understood as a certain polemic against the concept of 'national' Czech art as seen by Czech art historian V. V. Štech. It briefly monitors Kramář's development as an art historian and, at the same time, a collector of Cubist works. (en)
  • Cette étude replace l'oeuvre de Vincenc Kramář dans le contexte de la discussion autour de 'l'art national' et de 'l'art international' qui prit place en Tchécoslovaquie au milieu des années vingt. Les conceptions que Kramář développent dans son ouvrage Cubisme sont une sorte de polémique avec le concept d'art 'national' développé par l'historien de l'art Václav Vilém Štech. L'avant-propos permet de suivre l'évolution de Kramář en tant qu'historien de l'art et collectionneur d'art cubiste.
