Description	The lecture examined the communicational patterns between Czech and German representatives within the so-called euroregions. It showed, that problems due to the different mother tongues have far-reaching consequences for the euroregions. Firstly, on the structural level, the language barrier has been one of the main reasons, why there have been no attempts to establish common, binational offices, instead of country-based national offices for each of the sub-organizations. Secondly, on the interactional level, language problems often lead to misunderstandings and delays, which negatively influence the cooperational atmosphere between the involved representatives. Thirdly, communicationally induced problems have also great influence on the output produced by the euroregions: It aims at improving the communicational situation in the organization as well as in the Czech-German borderland as a whole.
