Description	In countries under political transformation the parliament played at the beginning the dominant role in the political life. Its task was to set up the basic institutional framework for the democratization of the society. During the ongoing process of transformation and starting Europeization the role of parliament has changed. The article analyzes the development of the Czech parliament, in particular of the Chamber of Deputies. Special attention is paid To the parliamentary elites, their professionalization, their concept of representation. Role parlamentu se v pokračující transformaci a v procesu evropeizace měnila. Stať analyzuje vývoj českého parlamentu, zejména Poslanecké sněmovny. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována parlamentním elitám, jejich profesionalizaci, jejich pojetí reprezentace. (cs)
