  • Drop Evaporation Test (DET) je vyvíjen pro studium odolnosti nerezavějících ocelí vůči korozi pod napětím za zvýšených teplot. Iniciace a rozvoj trhlin ve vzorcích vzniká v důsledku korozních změn i cyklických změn působícího napětí. Ty jsou modelovány řešením úlohy termo-pružnosti metodou konečných prvků. (cs)

Crack initiation and propagation is induced by corrosion changes in material and cyclic changes in the acting stress. The stress changes are modelled by the solution of a thermo-elasticity problem by the finite element method.
