  • Celkem 71 údajů zjištěných v letech 1968-2004 v Rokytné a Loučce bylo použito k odhadu druhové pestrosti ryb pomocí jednoho elektroodlovu a ke zjištění pravděpodobnosti detekce jednotlivých druhů. Průměrná odhadnutá druhová pestrost z jednoho odlovu (p´s1) byla v Rokytné a Loučce 95.4% a 96.2% celkové odhadnuté druhové pestrosti. Hodnoty p´s1 se na jednotlivých lokalitách pohybovali mezi 71.4% - 100% celkové odhadnuté druhové pestrosti. Další druhy nedetekované v prvním odlovu byly zjištěny ve 38% (Rokytná) a 22% (Loučka) případů. Hodnocení struktury společenstev pomocí mnohorozměrné statistiky (PCA) ukázalo značnou neshodu mezi daty získanými jedním a dvěma po sobě jdoucími elektroodlovy. Otázky týkající se rozhodnutí, zda provádět jeden nebo dva po sobě jdoucí lovy elektrickým agregátem, musí být založeny na cílech dané studie. K přesnějšímu zhodnocení struktury rybích společenstev jsou doporučovány dva odlovy. (cs)

Mean estimated species richness from single-pass sampling (p´s1) was 95.4% and 96.2% of estimated total species richness for Rokytná and Loučka rivers, respectively. However, p´s1 values for individual sites ranged from 71.4% to 100% of estimated total species richness. Additional species unique to the second pass were collected in 38% (Rokytná) and 22% (Loučka) of the samples. When assessing the fish assemblage structure by a multivariate technique (PCA), considerable inaccuracy between the single-pass and two-pass electro-fishing data was also observed. Decisions whether to conduct one or more electro-fishing passes must be based on study objectives. For more accurate evaluations of fish assemblage structure two-passes are recommended.
