Description
| - During 1995-2000 (most intensively in 1999), a faunictic survey of true bugs (Heteroptera) was carried out in the Protected Landscape Area (PLA) of Poodří. A special attention was paid to water bugs but terrestrial habitats were studied as well. In the area of PLA and its closest vicinity, 225 species of bugs (27,1% of all species of the Czech Republic) belonging to 26 families were documented. Among water bugs (Nepomorpha and Gerromorpha) we found 36 species, i.e. 59.0% of all species occurring in the Czech Republic. Three species (Sigara iactans Jansonn, 1983, Phytocoris nowickyi Fieber, 1870, and Psallus mollis (Mulsant et Rey, 1852)) are new for the Czech Republic, one (Dicyphus epilobii Reuter, 1883) is new for Moravia. Two species, Acalypta carinata (Panzer, 1806) and Psallus flavellus Stichel, 1933, are reported from Moravia for the second time, and the occurrence of three speies (Notonecta lutea Müller, 1776, Notonecta maculata Fabricius, 1794, Pinthaeus sangunipes (Fabricius, 1787)) is confir
