Description	Aufgrund des Fundes einer prächtigen Silberfibel am Hang des Burgstellberges und insbesondere der reichen Gräber im Gebiet des mittleren Thayaflussgebiet (Mušov u Sv. Jana, Neuruppersdorf) wird in dieser Region auf ein germanisches Herrschaftszentrum schon im ausgehenden 1. Jh. und in der ersten Hälfte des 2. Jh. vorausgesetzt. Darüber hinaus zeigen die Funde, die als kulturelle und historische Vorläufer des berühmten Königsgrabes in Mušov zu betrachten sind, klare Beziehungen zum unteren Elbgebiet. Davon und aus weiteren Eigenmerkmale der hiesigen Entwicklung lässt sich schliessen, dass hier das Machtzentrum der Markomannen lag. Based on a surface find of a silver trumped-shaped fibula in Mušov, the author presupposes an existence of damaged rich graves from the beginning 2nd century. He also points out other rich grave assemblages from the vicinity that are older than the known kings grave and are evidence of longer settlement continuity. The find support contacts between central Danubian and lower Elbe basins in the period before the Marcomanic wars. In this period a Marcomanic tribe is mentioned in the Danubian region for the first time, which could intermediate contacts with Elbe-Germanic territories. (en)
