Description
  • The redistribution of light between micro or nanoobjects placed in counter-propagating laser fields leads to their steady state spatial configurations. Under appropriate conditions, the objects are spatially separated and form optically bound matter. This is a very exciting phenomena that is still not fully understood. In this article we present a new theoretical model how to study this phenomena which is based on a coupled dipole method particularly amenable to nanoparticle optical binding. Predictions of this model are compared with experimental data and other theoretical model with satisfactory results.

  • Přerozdělení rozptýleného světla mikro- a nano-objekty umístěnými v protiběžných laserových svazcích vede ku rovnovážným prostorovým konfiguracím. Za vhodných podmínek jsou tyto objekty prostorově odděleny a vytváří opticky vázanou hmotu. Tento velmi zajímavý jev není zcela vysvětlen. V tomto článku představujeme nový teoretický model založený na metodě vázaných dipólů. Numerické výsledky tohoto modelu jsou porovnány s experimentálními výsledky. (cs)
