  • Charakteristiky termické roztažnosti hořčíkové slitiny AX41 zpevněné 12 obj. % krátkých Saffilových vláken byly analyzovány v teplotním intervalu od 25 do 380 °C. Vzorky byly vyříznuty pod různým úhlem vůči planární distribuci vláken v kompozitu. Z teplotní roztažnosti byly stanoveny reziduální a teplotní deformace a jejich závislost na orientaci vzorků. Pro úhly od 0° do 45° mezi osou vzorku a přednostní rovinou distribuce vláken jsou termická napětí tahového charakteru, pro větší úhly, tj. od 45° do 90°, jsou tato napětí tlaková. Termická napětí a termické deformace z nich odvozené se kompenzují elasto-plastickým mechanismem. Teplota elasto-plastického přechodu nezávisí na úhlu mezi osou vzorku a rovinou přednostní orientace vláken. (cs)
  • Thermal expansion characteristics of AX41 magnesium alloy reinforced by 12 vol.% of short Saffil fibers were investigated at the temperature range of 25-380 degrees C. Specimens cut at various angles involving random planar distribution of fibers were used for the experiments. From the thermal expansion characteristics, residual and thermal strains and their dependence on the orientation were evaluated. Tensile thermal strains were observed from 0 degrees to 45 degrees angles between the axis sample and the preferential plane of the fiber distribution. For greater angles, i.e., 45-90 degrees, the compression thermal strains were observed. The thermal stresses and the thermal strain connected with them head towards stress-free state by elastic-plastic mechanism. The temperature of the elastic-plastic transition does not depend on the angle between sample axis and the short fiber direction.
