  • Fatigue life curves and cyclic stress-strain curves of UFG copper were determined under stress control at room temperature and at a temperature of 173 K. At both the temperatures the lifetime of UFG cooper is longer than that of CG copper. The S-N curve of UFG copper is temperature dependent, while its cyclic stress-strain curve is temperature insensitive. Two mechanisms of cyclic plastic deformation in ultrafine-grained copper were proposed.

  • Křivky únavové životnosti a cyklické křivky napětí-deformace UFG mědi byly stanoveny v systému řízeného napětí za pokojové teploty a za teploty 173 K. V obou případech je životnost UFG mědi delší než životnost CG mědi. S-N křivka UFG mědi je teplotně závislá, zatímco cyklická křivka napětí-deformace je na teplotu necitlivá. Byly navrženy dva mechanizma cyklické plastické deformace v ultrajemnozrnné mědi. (cs)
