  • TEM and neutron diffraction results show that short and intermediate aging times result in a heterogeneous microstructure with Ni4Ti3 precipitates on grain boundaries and precipitate free regions in grain interiors. The neutron diffration indicates the presence of all four expected phases B2, R, B19\' and Ni4Ti3. Heterogeneous microstructures lead to complex transformation behaviour where regions with precipitates do not transform in the same way as precipitate free regions

  • Výsledky TEM a difrakce neutronů ukazují, že krátkodobé a střednědobé stárnutí generuje heterogenní mikrostruktury, ve kterých precipitáty Ni4Ti3 nukleují a rostou v oblasti hranic zrn zatímco objem zrn zůstává bez precipitace. Difrakce neutronů prokázala existenci všech čtyř očekávaných fází B2, R, B19' a Ni4Ti3. Heterogenní mikrostruktury jsou příčinou komplikovaného chování slitiny při martenzitické transformaci, kdy oblasti mikrostruktury s precipitáty transformují odlišným způsobem ve srovnání s oblastmi bez precipitace (cs)
