Trapping behavior of arsenic and selenium hydrides, as model hydride forming analytes, within a conventional transversally heated tungsten tube-like atomizer WETA 82 is reported. Influence of the temperature of untreated and surface-treated tube as well as influence of various additional experimental parameters on trapping efficiency was investigated.
