| - H1-antihistamines are the most widely used drugs suppressing histaminergic allergic reactions. We tested the ability of 14 H1-antihistamines to modulate production of reactive oxygen species (ROS) by phagocytes, myeloperoxidase (MPO) activity and their antioxidative properties were also evaluated.
