Description	Explicit solvent molecular dynamics simulations (MD) were carried out for sarcin-ricin domain (SRD) motifs from 23S (E. coli) and 28S (rat) rRNAs. Detailed analysis of the overall dynamics, base pairing, hydration, cation binding and other SRD features is presented. In summary, SRD is an unusual stiff rRNA building block. Its intrinsic structural and dynamical signatures seen in MD are strikingly distinct from other rRNA motifs such as Loop E and Kink-turns. Detailní analýza celkové dynamiky, párování, hydratace, vázání kationů a jiných SRD specifik je v této práci prezentovaná. Celkem, SRD je neobyčejně tuhý rRNA stavební blok. Jeho vnitřní (individuálně) strukturní a dynamické vlastnosti pozorované v MD jsou úplně odlišné od jiných rRNA motivů jako např. Loop E a Kink-turn. (cs)
