Description	Kniha doplňuje tradiční výklady vědecké revoluce 17. století novým pohledem, jenž vychází z detailní analýzy jazyka vědy. Na příkladu fyzikálních děl Galilea Galileiho, René Descarta a Isaaca Newtona se ukazuje, že významné vědecké objevy jsou často spojeny se zásadní změnou jazyka. Tyto změny se týkají vztahu jazyka a experimentální praxe (operacionalizace částí jazyka), sémantiky (relativizace smyslu některých výrazů) a syntaxe (vnoření jazyka do určitého kalkulu). Ve svém úhrnu dosáhly tyto změny stupně, který nás opravňuje mluvit o zrodu vědy jako o lingvistické události. V Galileovi, Descartovi a Newtonovi můžeme vidět, kromě jiného, i tvůrce úplně nového jazyka který umožňuje počítat budoucí stavy fyzikálních systémů pomocí několika málo analytických pravidel. The book complements the traditional interpretations of the Scientific Revolution of the 17th century with a new perspective that is based on a detailed analysis of the language of science. On the example of the physical works of Galileo Galilei, René Descartes and Isaac Newton it shows that important scientific discoveries often involve a fundamental change of the language. These changes concern the interplay between language and experimental practice (e.g. operationalization of sections of the language of physics by Galileo), semantics (e.g. the creation of explanatory models by Descartes) and syntax. Taken together these innovations amounted to a change that entitles us to interpret the birth of science as a linguistic event. In Galileo, Descartes and Newton we can see, among other things, also the creators of a completely new language that allows us to calculate the future states of a physical systems by means of a few analytical rules.
