Description	Handeln meint in der politischen Theorie Hannah Arendts das Vermögen, einen neuen Anfang zu setzen. Dies gilt insbesondere für die beiden fundierenden Handlungsmodi des Verzeihens und des Versprechens, die jedoch als prima facie moralische oder religiöse Kategorien im Bereich politischer Prozesse schwierig zu fassen sind. Der Artikel untersucht den systematischen Ort dieser beiden wenig beachteten Modi in der Handlungstheorie Hannah Arendts und fragt nach ihrer Bedeutung für die politische Praxis. In the political theory of Hannah Arendt, action is characterized by the ability to make a new beginning. This holds especially for the two constitutive modes of forgiveness and promising. Prima facie these are moral or religious categories that are difficult to conceptualize in the realm of the political. The article examines the systematic place of these underappreciated modes in Hannah Arendt's theory of action and considers their meaning in political praxis. (en) Jednání je v politické teorii Hannah Arendtové schopnost klást nový počátek. Obzvláště to platí pro dva základní mody jednání, jakými jsou odpuštění a slib. Jakožto primárně morální či náboženské kategorie jsou tyto pojmy v oblasti politckého dění obtížně uchopitelné. Článek zkoumá, jaké systematické místo mají tyto málo zohledňované mody v teorii jednání u Hannah Arendtové, a táže se, jaký mají význam v politické praxi. (cs)
