Description	The paper iams at evaluating the community-level impacts of the invasive Impatiens parviflora alien to central Europe using both removal field experiment and comparisons between the invaded and adjacent uninvaded vegetation. The results show that I. parviflora is highly unlikely to impact neither native species richness nor species composition of the invaded communities. Impatiens parviflora does not represent a distinctive dominant among the native species of invaded communities and, moreover, some of the native species are likely to represent an effective barrier against the invasion by Impatiens parviflora.
