Description
  • Clones of A. capillaris from the vicinity of a lead smelter showed a consistently high HM-tolerance, whereas the control clones varied in their ability to cope with HMs. The AM isolate from the contaminated substrate also performed better under HM-stress than the isolates from uncontaminated soils. Clones from the uncontaminated site accumulated considerably more HMs in their shoots and roots, regardless of AM inoculation. The effect of AM inoculation on plant growth and HM-uptake depended on the particular combination of plant clone and fungal isolate, without clear differences between tolerant and non-tolerant clones.

  • U klonů A. capillaris a izolátu arbuskulární mykorhizní G. intraradices získaných z kontaminovaného substrátu byla prokázána vyšší tolerance k těžkým kovům oproti klonům a izolátům stejného druhu z půdy nekontaminované. Klony A. capillaris z nekontaminované půdy akumulovaly v biomase výrazně vyšší koncentrace těžkých kovů než klony z kontaminované půdy, nehledě na inokulaci AM houbami. AM inokulace nezvýšila toleranci k těžkým kovům u tolerantních ani netolerantních klonů A. capillaris (absence synergického efektu rostlinné a houbové tolerance k těžkým kovům). (cs)
