| - Mnoho recentních studijí ukazuje positivní vztah mezi velikostí populace a její fitness. Tyto studie však neukazují důsledek tohoto vztahu pro dynamiku poplace. Studiem této otázky u druhu Scorzonera hispanica jsem ukázala, že navzdory positivnímu vztahu mezi produkcí semen a velikostí populace, vztah mezi velikostí populace a růstovou rychlostí populace není průkazný.
