Description	Antitumorové působení pšeničné ribonukleázy, izolované z listů, blo testováno in vitro na lidské buněčné linii a in vivo na lidských melanomech rostoucích na athymických myších. Antiproliferační působení na ML-2 buněčnou linii bylo nepatrné. V experimentech in vivo se však pšeničná ribonukleáza projevila významně protinádorově. při injekcích tohoto enzymu do nádoru se velikost nádorů snížila oproti kontrolám ze 100% na 39%. V případě navázání polyethylen glykolu na pšeničnou ribonukleázu a injekcích toho konjugátu intraperitoneálně bylo snížení velikosti nádoru z kontrolních 100% na 28%. (cs) The antiproliferative and antitumor effect of wheat leaf ribonuclease was tested in vitro on the human ML-2 cell line and in vivo on athymic nude mice bearing human melanoma tumors. The antiproliferative activity of this plant ribonuclease on tumor cells was negligible. In the experiments in vivo a significant decrease of the human melanoma tumors was observed. In athymic nude mice with growing human melanoma tumors and injected intratumoraly by this wheat ribonuclease, the tumor sizes decreased from 100% in the control mice to 39% in treated mice. In the mice treated with polyethylen glycol-conjugated wheat ribonuclease and injected intraperitonealy, the tumor reduction was observed from 100 to 28%.
