  • A genomic fragment of the porcine LMNA gene was amplified by polymerase chain reaction and comparatively sequenced. Four single ucleotide polymorphisms were identified in intronic sequences. Linkage analysis in the Hohenheim Meishanx Pietrain family placed the LMNA gene in the chromosome 4q linkage group, between MEF2D and GBA. In radiation hybrid mapping LMNA was most significantly linked to SW270 on chromosome 4. The LMNA gene is located in the quantitative trait loci region for some carcass traits on chromosome 4q.

  • Fragment genu MPZ prasete (1307 bp) byl amplifikován pomocí PCR. Komparativním sekvenováním bylo odhaleno 7 jednonukleotidových polymorfismů (SNP). SNP T210C byl typován po restrikci RsaI. Gen byl vazbově mapován v hohenheimské rodině MxP na chromosom 4q, mezi geny SDHC a APOA2. Na IMpRH panelu byl gen mapován do blízkosti markeru SW589 (25 cR; LOD = 11,45). MPZ se nachází v QTL intervalu pro některé jatečné znaky. (cs)
