  • Apoptosis is engaged in organ and tissue morphogenesis and remodeling during embryonic development. The field vole is a useful model for comparative studies in odontogenesis, particularly because of contrasting molar crown morphology compared to the mouse. However, little is known concerning apoptosis in tooth development of the field vole and this paper aims to tackle this question.

Hraboš mokřadní je vhodný model pro srovnávací odontogenetické studie zejména kvůli odlišnému finálnímu tvaru molárů ve srovnání s myší. Málo je však známo o apoptóze u hraboše mokřadního a uvedená práce je věnována této otázce. (cs)
