Description	Prezentujeme přípravu monokrystalů jodidu olovnatého, čištění zonálním tavením a růst metodou Bridgman-Stockbarger. Přidávali jsme během syntézy stříbro jako příměs za účelem studia jeho vlivu na kvalitu připraveného materiálu a na možnou tvorbu polytypů. Připravený jodid olovnatý byl charakterizován měřením resistivity a nízkoteplotní fotoluminiscencí. Rtg difrakce byla použita pro kontrolu krystalografické struktury. (cs) We report preparation of PbI2 single crystals, purification by zone melting, and growth technique by using Bridgman-Stockbarger method. We further added silver as admixture during synthesis in order to study its influence on the quality of prepared material, and on the possible formation of polytypes. The prepared lead iodide has been characterized by measurements and low temperature photo luminescence. X-ray diffraction has been used to monitor the crystallographic structure.
