| - Clostridium acetobutylicum, a gram-positive bacteria, is a well known for its ability to produce the solvents acetone and butanol. Large-scale fermentation systems based on the clostridial AB-fermentation supplied the majority of the total requirement of these solvents until 1950.

- Clostridium acetobutylicum je bakterie, která je dobře známá pro svoji schopnost produkovat aceton a butanol. Pomocí pervaporční separační techniky jsme byli schopni kontinuálně odstraňovat produkty fermentace což vedlo ke zvýšení růstu bakterií a zároveň zvyšení výtěžku acetonu a butanolu. Jako selektivní membrána byla použita iontová kapalina 15 wt% ( [(C3H7)4N][B(CN)4]) s 85 wt% of polydimethylsiloxanem. Vybraný systém vykazoval vysokou stabilitu a selektivitu. (cs)
