Description	The paper deals with development and application of the technologies for the de-contamination of soils polluted by organic substances, namely polychlorinated-biphenyls (PCB). The results from the operation of the semi-pilot and large-scale units aimed the disposal (elimination) of PCB are reported in soils and solid waste by a thermal desorption in inert atmosphere, in soils and contaminated solid waste through extraction and washing by a water solution of surface-active substances, and in organic liquids and oils by chemical reaction of PCB with a suspension of elementary sodium.The paper also mentioned the effectivity of the chemical method of the decomposition of PCB in wastewater in the presence of hydrogen peroxide, by exposing it to UV rays. (en) Publikace se zabývá vývojem a aplikacemi technologií vhodných pro dekontaminaci zemin, znečištěných organickými látkami, zejména polychlorovanými bifenyly (PCB). Jsou prezentovány metody pro zneškodnění těchto látek v zeminách a tuhých odpadech, jako je jejich termální desorpce v inertní atmosféře, extrakce vodnými roztoky povrchově aktivních látek a metoda jejich zneškodnění v organických kapalinách a olejích chemickou reakcí s elementárním sodíkem. V publikaci jsou též zmíněny způsoby zneškodňování těchto látek v odpadních vodách chemickou reakcí s peroxidem vodíku za působení UV záření. (cs)
