Description
  • Mixing intensity, gas hold-up and volumetric mass transfer coefficient are presented for multiple-impeller configurations of two types of impellers: Pitched Blade impeller pumping the liquid upwards (PBU) and Narcissus impeller (NS). Transport characteristics were measured in a vessel of inner diameter 0.29 m. Oxygen was used as a gas phase and 0.5M solution of Na2SO4 as a liquid phase. The comparison of transport characteristics of PBU impeller and NS impeller points on higher mixing intensities of PBU, while NS provides higher volumetric mass transfer coefficient.

  • Práce prezentuje intenzitu promíchávání,zádrž plynu a objemový koeficient přestupu hmoty zjištěných pro vícemíchadlové konfigurace dvou typů míchadel: míchadlo se šikmými lopatkami s čerpáním kapaliny nahoru (PBU) a míchadlo Narcissus (NS). Transportní charakteristiky byly měřeny v nádobě o vnitřním průměru 0,29 m. Jako plynná fáze byl použit kyslík a jako kapalná 0,5M roztok síranu sodného. Porovnání transportních charakteristik míchadel PBU a NS poukazuje na účinnější promíchávání u míchadla PBU, zatímco míchadlo NS poskytuje efektivnější přenos hmoty v nádobě. (cs)
