Description	Byl vytvořen mutantní kmen S. cerevisiae postrádající geny kódující transportní systémy pro kationy alkalických kovů (NHA1, ENA1, ENA2, ENA3, ENA4, KHA1, NHX1) z kmene postrádajícího pouze exportní systémy kationtů v plasmatické membráně (Ena1-4, Nha1). Gen NHX1 byl nahrazen genem TRP1 a gen KHA1 byl vyměněn za sekvenci loxP. Vznikl tak unikátní GMO v genetickém pozadí W303 s využitím pro studium heterologně exprimovaných vnitrobuněčných transportérů sodných a draselných kationů z nižších i vyšších eukaryot (cs) An S. cerevisiae mutant strain lacking the genes encoding alkali-metal-cation transporters (NHA1, ENA1, ENA2, ENA3, ENA4, KHA1, NHX1) has been constructed from a strain lacking only the plasma membrane cation exporters (Ena1-4 and Nha1). The NHX1 gene has been substituted by the TRP1 gene, the KHA1 gene has been replaced by the loxP sequence.
