  • Vliv inaktivace Gi proteinů pomocí pertusis toxinu (PTX) na efektivitu adrenergní vasokonstrikce byl studován na isolovaných artériích spontánně hypertenzních potkanů (SHR). Velikost maximální kontrakce vyvolané noradrenalinem byla zmenšena a křivka dávkové odpovědi byla posunuta doprava v artériích SHR potkanů vystavených působení PTX. Tyto nálezy vysvětlují pokles krevního tlaku u SHR po podání PTX (cs)

The magnitude of maximum contraction to norepinephrine was attenuated and dose-response curve shifted to the right in arteries of PTX-treated SHR. These findings explain blood pressure reduction seen in SHR subjected to PTX treatment
